Do you use your own crews?
Yes. Everyone on your job is a W-2 employee of Paint My House. We do not subcontract the work out.
What areas do you serve?
Washtenaw, Monroe, Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. Ann Arbor to Lambertville, Bloomfield Hills to the border.
How soon can you get in my project?
We book about a month out. Sometimes we have flexibility to start sooner. The best way to know for sure is to call (734) 530-3255.
What does painting cost?
Rates in SE Michigan generally run $XX to $XXX an hour. Where a job lands depends on the house and the scope of the project. Our minimum job size is $XXX. The written quote is free.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry $2M in liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We are an EPA-certified firm.
What is the warranty?
Two years on labor. If anything related to our work surfaces within two years of completion, we fix it free of charge.
What do you paint?
Wood, aluminum siding, stucco, block, brick and composite on the outside. Drywall, trim, cabinets and ceilings on the inside. We stain decks, playscapes and gazebos. We can paint vinyl siding, but we do not recommend it.
My house was built before 1978. Does that matter?
Yes. Homes built before 1978 may have lead paint. We are an EPA-certified firm and we put EPA-certified Lead Renovators on those jobs to keep you, your family and your neighborhood safe during and after the project.
Do you brush and roll or spray?
We primarily brush and roll. We also spray when the job calls for it.
